Re-elect State Representative Carmine Gentile for Wayland
Our progressive State Representative Carmine Gentile is fighting a re-election challenge from a rightwing Republican candidate.
Thanks to everyone who joined the Campaign Kickoff this week! With a fabulous turnout, including more than a dozen supporters from Wayland, we enjoyed with original folk music about Carmine from Peg Espinola!
MC'd by State Rep Jack Lewis, speakers included Mayor Yvonne Spicer, State Rep Maria Robinson, State Sen Becca Rausch, former State Sen David Magnani, State Sen Mike Barrett, among others -- and, of course, Carmine himself.
Highlights include Carmine's responsiveness to constituents in need, his teamwork approach to build consensus, his advocacy for reproductive health and education, and his leadership regarding campaign finance reform. Further, Sen Barrett emphasized the importance of re-electing Carmine while we navigate 4 urgent crises of COVID, economic collapse, racial injustice, and climate crisis.
