WHAT WE DO
The members and friends of Wayland Democratic Town Committee are committed to social justice, environmental responsibility, and community support both in our town and beyond. We work to elect Democratic candidates and promote Democratic values of justice, compassion, and civil rights in policymaking. Our monthly evening meetings and informal breakfasts are public opportunities to share what is happening in our local area and to meet candidates and elected officials.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
In 2020, there are lots of ways to get involved from speaker events, postcarding, canvassing, signs and rallies, petitions, informal political conversations, fundraisers, and more! Wayland Democrats believe that every one of us has the right to equitable access to opportunity, security, and inclusion. We believe that our government exists to empower people by providing high-quality public education, ensuring universal access to healthcare, protecting our environment, reducing income inequality, and guaranteeing equal rights and opportunity for all. We believe that when people like ourselves organize in our local communities, we can change our state and our country for the better.
